Eva Kagiri graduated from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland as a Master of Science in Environment, specialisation in Development and International Co-operation. She has been actively involved in Community Development projects at grassroot levels ranging from education to environmental technology. Projects in which she has contributed expertise have been in East Africa. She is also a part-time lecturer at Helsinki University of Technology on Sustainable Global Technologies and Innovations. She now works at MKFC Stockholm/Helsinki College that is a leading eLearning Company in Europe and has been developing, planning and implementing ICT for Development projects and eLearning content in Kenya, Zambia, Ghana and Uganda. Her focus has been integrating ICT in Education, Health and Environmental Technology. Some of her research papers have been on Sanitation Technologies, Energy and Climate Change in relation to Community Health and Environmental Sustainability.
