OVERVIEW

S.P. Shukla’s selected articles.

"WTO is the most visible symbol of this process of Globalization, Marketization and Recolonization. The process characterizes the contemporary stage of the onward march of global capital. The IMF and World Bank, through their structural adjustment and economic reforms programmes are enforcing economic, financial and fiscal policies on the third world countries to facilitate this onward march. WTO is providing a democratic façade and, at the same time, a legally binding institutional framework to neutralize the autonomy of the nation -states so that the process of further expansion of global capital is facilitated and sustained." S.P. Shukla
