OVERVIEW

Early 2010 an online survey on Alternative International Labour Comunication by Computer (AILCC) was sent out to maybe 20-30 relevant individuals or online projects, but only two replied. This less-than-meagre response clearly raises more questions than it provides answers. Peter Waterman provides some background, sees what can be drawn out of the two responses, indicates the increasingly varied and expanding terrain of AILCC, and considers the light
thrown by some of the literature around the topic. The Conclusion considers ‘What is to be Done?’.
