Laveesh Bhandari

Laveesh Bhandari is an economist by training and has taught in institutions such as Boston University and IIT, Delhi. He was the Managing Editor of Journal of Emerging Market Finance published by Sage. His publications include District Deprivation in the New Millennium, 2003, Konark, New Delhi, and Small Scale Industry in India, 2005, Academic Foundation, New Delhi, both jointly edited with Bibek Debroy. In addition he has published widely in journals and edited volumes on varied topics such as Panchayats, Health in India, Rural Roads, Indian manufacturing sector, infrastructure etc. He has been the recipient of The Exim Bank Award for the Best Thesis in International Economics in 1996, as well as the Hite Fellowship for work on international finance.
